Leap Dance Fest

On Saturday 29 February 2020, we hosted our first LEAP Dance Fest at Hornsey Vale, a wonderful community fundraiser with a range of activities for everyone. Planned to celebrate the ‘extra’ day in February, from today’s standpoint in the middle of this pandemic, the photographs seem even more joyous than they did at the time.

People joined informal tutorials on various dance styles, many with great gusto! There was a café, bar, delicious pizzas and vegan food for everyone to enjoy.

We’d like to thank all of the attendees, young and old alike, for helping to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which everyone had a great time.

We would also like to give a heartfelt thanks to our volunteers and the fabulous dance instructors, who gave their time for free, helping to raise just over £400 towards our new therapy room fund. This will help provide low-cost treatments for those with long-term health conditions in our community.

If you participated, or even if you couldn’t make it, and you’re interested in finding out more about any of the dance styles and instructors, opposite are contact details for when we reach brighter times.
