Hornsey Vale Community Centre is still closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We look forward to re-opening for regular groups and classes from 7 September 2020.

At present however, we regret that, in keeping with government guidelines, we are not yet able to offer our spaces for hire for parties or similar social gatherings.

We’ve missed having HVCC as a centre of community activity in this period, just when it was needed most, however hope you understand that we have an ongoing duty to operate responsibly and do all we can to support our older or vulnerable residents by minimising risk of transmission of the virus.

We are continuing to review the situation regularly and will post updates and any other important information here on our website and on social media.
Please visit us at InstagramTwitter; and our HornseyValeCC page on Facebook).

In the meantime, if you have any enquiries or need advice our Office Admin staff will be monitoring emails and phone messages frequently so do get in touch at info@hornseyvale.org or leave a message on
020 8348 4612.

Thank you to our wonderful Hornsey Vale community for your patience, understanding and ongoing support.

We wish you and yours all the best, and look forward to welcoming you back to Hornsey Vale Community Centre in the not too distant future.

The Hornsey Vale Management Committee

On Saturday 29th February Hornsey Vale hosted its first LEAP Dance Fest, a wonderful community fundraiser that had a range of activities for the whole family.

People joined in sessions of various dance styles, which many did with great gusto!  There was a café, bar, delicious pizzas and vegan food for everyone to enjoy.

We would like to thank all of the attendees, young and old alike, for helping to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which everyone had a great time.

We would also like to give a heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and fabulous dance instructors, who gave their time for free, helping to raise just over £400 towards our ‘new therapy room fund’. This will provide low-cost treatments for those with long-term health conditions in our community.

If you participated in LEAP – or even if you couldn’t make it – and you’re interested in finding out more about any of the dance styles and instructors opposite are a list of their classes along with contact details
