About the class
In the class, students practice Chen style Taichi (74 forms) followed by Chi Gong, warm-ups and exercises for steps, arms and legs(Gonbu, Mabu etc) and segments.
Through these exercises, students could enjoy the flow and strength of Taichi with breathing!! Chen style Taichi is the oldest most traditional form originating over 800 years ago in China..Millions have enjoyed its multitude of benefits for body, mind and sprits.
Beginners are welcome!!
About the teacher
Min has a good experience of teaching Taichi and certified teacher in Yan Min Shi Taiji association and has been studying Chen style Taichi with disciplines from Chen family in China. She also has been training Bagua Zhang, Chi Gong which inherit from the families She tried to develop marital art as fitness and dance.

Green Peas Messy Play sessions are run weekly during term time.

Personal Training to offer women of all ages, sizes and fitness levels a personalised and effective
training approach to fit in with their busy family and work commitments.
Viktoria is a mother of two young children and knows how difficult it can be to fit in exercise whilst

What is a Pre & Post Natal Bootcamp?
This is a fun, safe and result-orientated circuit class aimed at pregnant women and new mothers.
Everyone can take part, as long as you have had the all clear from your midwife, usually around
6-8 weeks. Viktoria is a qualified pre & post natal personal trainer and will tailor the exercises to
everyone’s individual needs, levels and goals.
The class will focus on areas such as core stability, strength and balance as well as improving your
cardiovascular fitness. There is also a social aspect to this class as you will meet new friends and
have fun at the same time as getting fitter and healthier! And you don't need any childcare as you
can bring your babies with you to the class.
Bumps, babies and buggies are all welcome!!

[up] Circuit Training classes - Get fitter
We can’t promise you a place at the Olympics, but we can promise you a warm welcome and help to get fitter. Our circuit training classes have been held every Saturday morning and Wednesday evening in the gym for over 10 years, with many of the original members still attending.
The benefit of circuit training is that because you work at your own pace it doesn’t matter what age you are or how fit you are (or aren’t!), we can help you to become fitter and more flexible, and above all, to enjoy doing it. You can build up your strength and stamina as you progress, and the only person you are in competition with, is yourself.
We are not a typical gym. We don’t use machines, play music, or check out each others designer gym clothes. What we do is use a variety of basic gym equipment such as weights, benches, medicine balls, dumbells and mats. Our innovative and qualified trainer Lance, changes the excercises every month and makes sure that we never get bored and that every bit of us gets a thorough workout.
So, if you are new to exercise, or just want to get back into the habit, why not try us out? It’s £6 a session but the first class is half price and we offer reduced rates for students, unwaged, and retired people.
Essentials: bring water, wear comfortable shoes.

Zumba literally means "moving quickly and having fun".
Zumba is a fitness party! Going to Zumba class with my friends and colleagues is like going to the
best party around! It's the type of exercise you'll want to do every day and before you know it you'll be
hooked.
Zumba is easy! The easy-to-follow moves mean you can join in immediately. Both men and women,
but also children enjoy Zumba Fitness classes.
Zumba is aerobics to swinging Latin American music. All the different Latin American dance styles,
Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Cuba, Calypso, Reggaeton and Hiphop, encourage you to move your
body. And although you're doing a serious workout that's not the way it feels.
Zumba is different! Classic fitness and group lessons often contain a series of repetitive movements.
This repetition - albeit at different frequencies - soon leads to boredom. The dynamic Zumba Fitness
programme is very varied, and the alternation between quicker and slower songs gives you time to
recover.
Zumba is effective! After just a couple of Zumba classes you'll already feel that Zumba has had an

Qualified Pregnancy Yoga teacher Marielle Churaqui teaches an antenatal yoga class at Hornsey Vale Community Centre on Saturday mornings from 9.45am-11am. The class is suitable for all women from 12 weeks of pregnancy with or without prior experience of yoga.
Yoga is a wonderful way to maximise your well-being during pregnancy and to gently prepare your body for birth. It energises you, balances your emotions and encourages a deeper connection with your baby.
In this class, you will learn how to use yoga techniques to relax, breathe, and move safely during the different stages of your pregnancy.

Inner Yoga is a nurturing and gentle way of practicing yoga which encourages a deeper connection with your body. The class is suitable for everyone whether you have practiced yoga before or not. Marielle has particular experience of adapting postures to suit the many of us who, due to modern lifestyles or specific injuries are not so flexible in the hips, may have tight hamstrings, stiff shoulders or lower back problems.
In this class, you will learn a variety of yoga techniques, including postures, breath work and meditation which will improve your flexibility, calm your mind and energise you.

We are very pleased to welcome one of the world's most popular Karate organisations to the Centre. “Go-Kan-Ryu Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate. It was founded by Robert Sullivan in 1984 in Adelaide, South Australia. GKR is a non-contact karate, with a heavy emphasis on strong basics: kata (patterns) and kumite (sparring). Since its inception, GKR has grown to become one of the most popular karate organisations in the world, with well over 40,000 in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the USA. Stationer's Playgroup: For children aged two and a half and upwards. Open Monday to Friday 9.15-11.45am during term time. A place to make friends, learn together and have fun! Their latest Ofsted report said “Staff have good relationships with children; they are interested in what children do, value their contribution and encourage them to participate in activities. Staff provide children with a wide range of stimulating activities, which cater for all areas of children's learning.
