Welcome to the Hornsey Vale Community Centre – your ‘village hall’ in the heart of Hornsey Vale (Stationer's Park), near Crouch End in North London.
Come and join one of our regular activities: football or martial arts in the gym, yoga in the hall, or one of our therapy groups in the small meeting rooms.
For children there is a regular playgroup and after school club during term time, with frequent holiday activities as well. Sports include football and karate.
Thinking of holding a birthday party or need to host a big meeting? Book our large hall, which takes up to 200 people seated, or one of our smaller, more intimate rooms. Have a look at the plan of the building and check out our room hire rates and booking conditions.
The Centre is run by the Hornsey Vale Community Association, a charitable non-profit making organisation. We get financial help from Haringey Council who provides core funding, and from the Big Lottery Fund. Local volunteers look after the Centre, manage our small team of staff, and organise events like the May Gala; click Community Events for our next planned event.
The only way HVCA can function is by individuals giving their time freely, whether it is in order to serve on the management committee, distribute leaflets, help at events, or even to unblock the occasional gutter. If you can help us in any way, or offer your expertise on matters of finance, the law, publicity, design, of organisation and planning, do contact us.
